Ingredients
2–3 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
2–3 inches fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup filtered water
Pinch of black pepper (activates curcumin)
1 tsp raw honey (optional, for sweetness)
Optional Add-Ins:
Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp orange juice or apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Peel and chop fresh ginger and turmeric.
Add roots to a high-speed blender along with lemon juice, water, black pepper, and honey.
Blend for 30–45 seconds until smooth.
Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a glass jar.
Store in the refrigerator and shake well before each use.
Notes
Fresh roots give the most potent flavor and health benefits—avoid powders if possible.
Drink 1–2 oz daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.
Store for up to 5 days in an airtight glass container.
