Description

Ingredients

  • 23 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped

  • 23 inches fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1/4 cup filtered water

  • Pinch of black pepper (activates curcumin)

  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional, for sweetness)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

  • 1 tbsp orange juice or apple cider vinegar

     


Instructions

  • Peel and chop fresh ginger and turmeric.

  • Add roots to a high-speed blender along with lemon juice, water, black pepper, and honey.

  • Blend for 30–45 seconds until smooth.

  • Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a glass jar.

 

  • Store in the refrigerator and shake well before each use.
