Ingredients

1 cup hot water (not boiling)
Juice of ½ lemon

Instructions
In a heat-safe cup or jar, steep the butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 5–7 minutes until the liquid turns a rich blue.
Strain out the flowers and let the tea cool slightly.
Add sweetener if desired and stir to dissolve.
